Forrest turned 5

Then went to contemplate life in a treehouse

Boden lost his first tooth and got a haircut

Forrest learned his first note! Thanks Gee-Gee and Grands, I saved up all my birthday and holiday money and bought myself the tiniest violin I could find. 

Boden is into his graphic novels. He reads them all by himself now.

Canoe Trip

To celebrate Boden's new haircut and Jordan's birthday, we went out on the river. 

We explored a deserted island and Forrest found some treasure.

This was my dad's shirt that Pop-Pop got him when he was only a year old. Now I get to sport it around. Yeah, it says "1982", I'm cool. 

Forrest's dream come true

Uncle Casey lives on a peacock farm. That's not a typo, he really does. They hang out in the trees and me and my brother go hunting for their feathers in the woods. Oh yeah, and he took us for bike rides around the farm.  It was the best day in history. 

And when we got back form Casey's, it was so hot we had to go find some sprinklers. What a great week!
