HAPPY HOLIDAY!

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful holiday & relaxing & eating lots of good food. Here I am with my mom, yes she looks a little funny, but just say it looks nice anyway when you see her. Dad was off goofing around somewhere so we will have to take another pix with in it later. Today was a good day, we hope yours was too. Me & dad played outside in the morning, then we went on a long drive & took a hike in the woods. We hid in a big tree & pretended we were racoons. We also went on a mission to find popcorn on Christmas to decorate our tree & found out that you can actually pop microwave popcorn in an oven, but the bag falls apart when you touch it. When it got later, we built a fire, (I'm an expert in case you need someone to help you). I can't wait to see you all soon!

Our Holiday Tree

Here I am with my mom & dad building our holiday tree. Our tree fell in the back yard & so we decided to rebuild & decorate it inside. Now all my presents are sitting under it & I have put red beads all over to decorate it. I need some more ornaments though!

It's Rainy

It's stopped now, but it was raining or almost a week straight. Lots of puddles, so lots of fun. As some might have heard, we had no car for a day or two so we walked places, which was the best, the puddles you know. The seconds best part is that I got to wear my rain suit, full rain gear. So I play all I want in the rain & stay dry & toasty. My mom made me pose for these pictures so you guys could see.

Painting & Napping & How Much I Love my Dada

Here are some pictures of what I've been up to lately. I got my first set of watercolors, paper, & brushes & have created many masterpieces lately. Naps are not my thing...so my dog Suki was kind enough to wash her bigger dog bed for me & lets me sleep on it next to her. She's very nice. And the last picture is just to show you all how much I love my dada.

Carousel Ride

I just had to tell you about the Carousel I went on today. It's from 1921 & has 71 horses to ride. I wore my special bear boots ofr the occasion. I rode twice & I think I like the beige smiling horse the most because it is the largest & fastest one. Here we are. We going at amazing speeds!

I know I have slacked on my posts lately, so here are a few pixs. Me & Lila like to play 'put poker chips in our mouths', yes my mouth is covered with chocolate frosting from my birthday cupcakes, I'm wearing my blue fleece jacket while helping dad & Casey build a house, and the last one is of me just smiling because I will see you all soon!! And yes, I have a new haircut, too many people were saying "what a beautiful girl!".

Pumpkin Patch Rocks!

My & my buddy Solamon went to the pumpkin patch last week & had fun. We went on a hay ride through the woods, sat on pumpkins, went down big slides, & I even held a chick in my hand. And oh yes, that is me driving a tractor. If you want, I can show you how some day. I had to wear my big boots for the occasion, lots of mud.

Flies

Here are all my flies. Well, they're really my Pop-Pop's, but he lets me use them when we go fishing. I'm in the market for my first fishing pole, if you see a good one, let my mom know. And yes, I am wearing clothes!

My Tomatoes

These are my tomatoes. Aren't they lovely! I grew them in the dirt. They're perfect! Every morning when I wake up, me & mom go outside to see if any tomatoes are ready for picking. You can only pick the red ones, but sometimes I pick the green ones & throw them as far as I can, that's pretty fun too. We load them up in a bowl & then I'm not sure what happens to them, but they are in the fridge if you wanna see them. Come pick some with me, it's fun. And if you look right behind me, there are my grapes, they're turning purple & are going to be delicious!

My Camping Adventures

I went on my first camping trip (at least tat I can remember) with my mom & dad & these are some fun pixs. We camped, went to the Umpqua hot springs (me sunbathing above), I learned how to pose for photos, learned how to fly fish, went in a boat, saw more ducks, hung out with cows, & discovered fire.

I love ducks!

This is my duck Loon. He is a loon & makes a loon sound when he gets excited to see other ducks. We had a fun time at the duck gardens. You can come too if you like!

I Love Coconut Ice Cream!

These are the days!

It was 96 degrees the day after we returned from the east coast. So I decided to cool off. Someone in our neighborhood thought our water tasted "metalic" so the water guy came out & turned on the fire hydrants! I'm not scared of water anymore. That was probably the most fun 2 hours I've ever had, aside from fishing! And yes, I got all my clothes soaking, so what else could I do? Now I scream ever time I pass a fire hydrant.

It's been hot out here & I've been playing with Laila alot lately.
We love the hammock. We don't fall out too often, but nothing phases Laila. I love her now.

Too Much Cake

My friend Lila's parents got married a few weeks ago & it was so much fun! Lots of people, music, & cake. Yup, I ate alittle too much cake.

I love slides & this one had to be the best ever...tube slide, fast, mom launches me, grandpa catches. What could be better?!

Watch Out, Here We Come!

I'm heading East with my mom on Sunday, so get ready...we plan on doing a lot of visiting & playing. I am getting the finishing touches done on my garden. Just planted some lettuce today so that when I get back, I can try some. I have strawberries planted too & they're doing great, just have to remind dad to water them while I'm gone. What's he gonna do without me for a whole week?!!

Dad Gets a Haircut

My dad had too much hair, so he cut it off. I got to help my buddy Gabe shave his head. He was afraid that I wouldn't recognize him, but of course I did! Here he is in the middle of his haircut. Mom insisted on stopping & taking a picture with funny glasses. Then we got back to business & he looks really cool now. He says he feels like a new man.

Getting Ready for Easter

This will be the first Easter that I get to go easter egg hunting. I am so excited that I have started practicing egg collecting. What do you think, am I ready?

He is! I mean, he turned 29 the day after we took this picture. But me, I'm 19 months old now & learning lots of new things. Like my hat? My grandma Ellie made it 29 years ago!

For the Love of Binkies

Me & my friend Lila went to the park the other day. She lives across the street & we walked a few blocks & were there. She loves her "binkie", I don't get it, but what ever makes her happy. She's very nice & likes to share it with me...how do I tell her I'm not into binkies without hurting her feelings?

I recently visited the Pendelton Woolen Mill Store with my mom & I love this lamb. He was very nice. He especially like it when I pulled his ears & kissed his nose.

I Love Ice Cream!!

Ohhhhh, the joy! I have discovered the best food ever. You have to try it, it's called ice cream & I hear it's quite popular. I particularly like this coconut milk chocolate ice cream, it's amazing. You have to try it, words do not do it justice. My mom & dad like it too.
