Boden Turns 5!

My Dad's BIrthday!

Me and Forrest told mom to take the day off and sent her to the spa. We set to work and made a delicious chocolate cake with cashew frosting, strawberries, and the sprinkles that mom never lets us buy. We picked some flowers and made Dada cards too. He loved it and we all sang happy birthday. Forrest tried to eat his piece of cake all in one bite. He's working on moderation, but just can't help himself when it comes to chocolate.

My 4th Birthday & Other Fun Stuff

It was amazing! Every day for the past 3 months, I've asked my mom when it was coming & it finally came. So great, pinatas, birthday cake, friends, party hats, what else could I ask for. And thanks to all you who sent me wonderful gifts, I am really enjoying all my new stuff!

Otherwise, me & Forrest grew some amazing cucumbers. We thought that slugs were getting to the cukes, but then we caugt Forrest taking a nibble here... And I gave Forrest my old bike & I picked him out a matching helmet that says "I Love my Brain" on it. This was his first ride. He's a natural. More to come soon.

My 3rd Birthday Party!!

Today I celebrated my 3rd birthday. Me & dada began the morning with a shave. Then I spent some time outside by the project to contemplate what I've learned this year. And it's fun to look at because Casey & Dada put up walls yesterday. Finally, it was time for my party. I've been talking about this for weeks & now it was here! Forrest slept most of the time, but I think he had fun. I helped make a chocolate cake last night & it was really yummy. We ate it all up! I loved my pinata, Dada held it up high on a stick. I took turns with my friends & broke it open on this swing. Overall, the best birthday party I've ever had! Thanks to everyone who also sent me cards! I think I will have another one next year.
