As if Forrest didn't have enough hats. This is the "blueberry".

On a hike to find the perfect rock.

That's me driving a tractor. Forrest is my site manager. And yes, he dressed himself today.

Oh Man!

Oh man, Mom finally got us some really good bubbles. We had so much fun, well maybe too much fun. We were right in the middle of covering the whole shower door in bubbles when, wohaa! Where did Forrest go?! He looked up at us from under the water, looking quite surprised. Mom rushed in and scooped him up. He was a little worried about what had just happened, but glad to be wrapped in a towel. Then, we all realized the camera was missing. I knew where it had gone in all the chaos. I managed to pick it up from under the bubbles with my foot. I'm quite talented. Forrest was saved and the camera had been sacrificed. Mom is not a good multi-tasker for those of you who don't know her. But I think she made the right move. So for those of you who are fans, it might be awhile before I can post any more pictures of me and my bro for awhile. If you have a favorite kind of camera, let us know, we're in the market again.

Hi

So Boden won't let mom cut his hair. We hung out at the beach. I learned how to make pancakes. And then was so tired, I curled up with my bunny for a nap.

Racing

Forrest was obsessed with having a pony tail to go ride the horses. He thinks it makes his horse go faster. I showed him the ropes, how to harness them up, say giddie-up, and pet their manes. Mom started to get dizzy or we would have rode all day.

This Week

We had some fun this weekend. Forrest was busy cooking potato pancakes. He's still obsessed with eggs and mom keeps letting him hold them for some reason. So I've been cleaning up a lot lately. But he made some killer pancakes so I can't complain.

It's been cold the last few days so I've been sporting my snow leopard hat. I added stars to the picture for fun. My hair is getting quite long because me and Forrest won't let anyone cut our hair anymore. And no, I don't look like a girl!

Forrest thinks I'm really cool and has started insisting on wearing my clothes. I was also in my first play on Friday and I rocked. I'll post a video soon. That's all for now.

Cookies Anyone?

If anyone wants some cookies, we got 'um. I bet grandma is just really happy that we aren't using her kitchen for this batch. Maybe we should go over to grandma's to make her some during her birthday week. How about next time we come visit, we'll make sure to make you some.

Funny

So Dada's been playing on the roof again. I think he just likes to look down at the house from there & think about how pretty it is. He likes the colors Forrest & I have chosen. We think it's very modern. As you can see, we're not quite done yet. I'm almost finished putting the finishing touches on the last of the white trim. I think the colors look pretty sharp. We've all had a fun few weeks. The neighbors have even started to pain their houses next door the same colors!

We also took our bikes for a spin. Mama is trying to make it our main form of transportation. We'll see how long that lasts after a few rainy days of biking! But it's a lot of fun. Forrest especially likes his new helmet I picked out for him...it matches mine. Forrest loves his little trailer & shouts for joy when we ride down the street.

And as you can see, my brother is up to no good again, but he's still really funny. This week he's obsessed with hard-boiled eggs. He doesn't want to eat them, just see what happens when he smashed different things against them. Watch out!

My First day at School

I began my new school last week & it's a blast. So Much Fun! I can't wait to go back. I got a new fire truck lunch box so I'm pretty psyched. Here are some fun pixs of me, Forrest, my teacher Miss Sue, & our school angora bunny Mopsy. Mopsy is kind of the school mascot & pretty funny. It got to the tripple digits out here last week so we decided to give the Mopsy a haircut....you like it? I think she looks stunning!
Forrest wanted to go to school too so we let him stay the first day so he wouldn't feel left out. I have to talk to him about the underwear thing though, he's getting older & needs to wear some clothes now, especially at school. He agreed to put on something & then we went out to Bob's Red Mill after I got out of school. We were very excited & ate lots of pancakes. Forrest loves pancakes almost more than I do. Here he is celebrating.

My 4th Birthday & Other Fun Stuff

It was amazing! Every day for the past 3 months, I've asked my mom when it was coming & it finally came. So great, pinatas, birthday cake, friends, party hats, what else could I ask for. And thanks to all you who sent me wonderful gifts, I am really enjoying all my new stuff!
Otherwise, me & Forrest grew some amazing cucumbers. We thought that slugs were getting to the cukes, but then we caugt Forrest taking a nibble here... And I gave Forrest my old bike & I picked him out a matching helmet that says "I Love my Brain" on it. This was his first ride. He's a natural. More to come soon.

Oh Summer Fun!

Me & Forrest got a really cool present from auntie Melissa, uncle Ben, & Ella. Awesome! I put the wheelbarrow together with my mom & then we put it to use. There was so much to be done in the yard! I hauled plants, dirt, rocks, & tools, the jobs are endless. Forrest just wanted to go for joy rides, so I took him on a few. And yes, those are leg warmers he's wearing because he kept getting knee splinters.

My uncle Casey used our bike trailer this weekend & really tested out it's durability. This is the trailer that I've used for the past 3 years behind a bike to get around town when it's just too nice to be in a car. (don't worry Pop-Pop, we only take non-busy, safe, bike routes). The directions said it could carry 75 lbs. Casey biked it out to a weekend concert. He filled it up with a cooler, food & beer for the weekend, all his camping gear, & of course his banjo. It came back in almost one piece, so I would say it passed the test.

Soccer & Gardens

Me & Forrest have been pretty busy. I've been building & my dad helps out too. Beautiful stuff, I'll post the pixs another time. Now lets talk about soccer. I love soccer. I'm awesome & kick the ball really fast. I know how to also do soccer stops & take water breaks. Forrest cheers me on. I just got a pretty cool looking shorter haircut too. Me and my dad trimmed our hair together the other day. I helped him buzz his after my mom gave him a mohawk.

Forrest has been having fun lately. He's mostly been into gardening, likes to dig a lot & eat dirt. I think he's finally figured out that it doesn't taste good. And his other new favorite activity is eating spicy pickles. He loves "Bubbies" pickles. He's already eaten a whole jar in the last few days!

Feeling Better

As you may have heard, Forrest had a crappy week. After a night of partying & drinking too much milk one night, he got in a nasty mood & scared everyone. So I decided that gardening was a great way to liven things up a bit around here. We need to do some digging. This plant had mint in it. But by the time we were done, I'm not sure the mint is still in tact. But we had fun & that's all that matters. We love all our admirers out there and send everyone big hugs.
